Parmesan Creme Brulee!

I had a tast of my friend Jenny's main course of Parmesan creme brulee when we had lunch at Rocpool on the river on Thursday. It was to die for!! Make sure you try this restaurant when in Inverness. Stephen and his staff will look after you well and the food is fab! (and the wine)

Anta and Edinbane Pottery.

At Trafford Bank we serve breakfast on the beautiful Anta Pottery. We also use Edinbane Pottery from Skye for some of the other breakfast dishes.

Anta items feature throughout Trafford Bank as we have rugs, throws, cushions and curtains made by them in Tain. We also feature items from Hume Sweet Hume in Orkney

This week’s Observer newspaper features an article extolling twenty of the best B&Bs, guest houses and hotels to be found in Britain today. As editor of the Good Hotel Guide, Desmond Balmer has long experience in recognising what makes accommodation outstanding. AA Breakfast Award

Trafford Bank has once more been awarded the AA Breakfast Award.

Here are some examples of the award winning and fabulous organic items we offer our guests at Breakfast Flaky Salar Smoked Salmon, Black and Fruit Pudding from Stornoway ,fresh wild mushrooms from Strathspey , jams and preserves from Nairn , award winning Lovedean Granola served with Koshal's famous fruit salad and plain yoghurt (The Granola is a firm favourite with guests). and Beautiful Breads made at Invergordon.
